As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts :)
I have a job interview tomorrow, I'm super nervous and my focus is on that right now so I might not be able to reply to comments immediately, but I'll be back asap!

The compositions are as always on point, especially the ones containing blocking! My faves are 3, 7, 14 and 16 ♥

I never even thought of using blocking as the geometric element on science, duh. It looks amazing. I really like 5,6,7, and 11. 11 especially has that overpowering black frame, which I wouldn't have dared use but that works really well.
I love the motion in 12! A very emotional icon.
The last row is awesome, too. I especially like 17 (yay Raylan!), the complex composition in 18 is just wow.
Great, great set!

LOL I thought blocking was like the most obvious choice for geometric element, but I'm glad you like the choice :)
I'm still on the fence about the frame on 11, it's funny that you picked up on that! It was a struggle to find a balance between too dark to be overpowering ands too light to look like it no longer 'supports' the character visually. Idk, it could still use some work, so not my favorite icon here but I'm glad and surprised you liked it! :)
Thank you for all the kind words!

PS: Keep my fingers crossed - you'll get that job, I'm sure!

I admire your icons as always - my favourites are 5, 12 and 14 - the use of muted/cool green looks awesome. Also the use of light on all icos is great. From complex icons my favourite is 18.

Programmers are always in demand so I'm positive you'll find a great career opportunity soon even if your job interview didn't go so well. Good luck! :)

Love 3, 5, 12, 13, 16 and 17!
As for period dramas recs, maybe I can help you! I'm so fond of them and all of those pretty dresses, but I really don't know what you've already watched, so sorry if there are movies you already know! Sometimes I discover them by searching for actors/actresses that I've already seen in period pieces; some of them can be, for example, Keira Knightley, Colin Firth, Matthew Macfadyen, Alicia Vikander, Nicole Kidman, Orlando Bloom, Richard Armitage, Romola Garai and so on! Just start with them and lurk their films for very good pieces! Other favourite movies, that aren't with them, are basically all the Jane Austen's and Bronte's novels adaptations (classical books adaptations are generally gorgeous period dramas), Crimson Peak, In the Heart of the Sea, Masters and Commanders, Florence Foster Jenkins, Miss Potter, Bright Star, To Walk Invisible, the Shakespearean ones are also usually good, Belle, Sleepy Hollow, Stardust, Ever After... Really there are too many! Hope these suggestions are useful! ♥
