shameless666...you have amazing use of text in Olivia, Forrest, and Hook, although I don't watch those shows (well, I need to catch up on the last 400 seasons of OUaT). Also I love the way you styled Tony with the Iron Man mask behind him.

thyla87...I love the coloring of Stiles and Olivia, and Tony is so creative! Also, the shading is beautiful in Peter and I love the artistic style of Regina.

As for Daredevil, well I only watched the first episode and that's way too early to make a judgment, but I can tell that I'm not really in the target audience for this type of show because I'm not a fan of crime and action stuff. those genres are an instant turnoff for me because they're everywhere and really boring imho :p but there were things I liked, still. I loved that there were a few quiet character-centric moments, some great dialogue and I also liked the three main characters, especially Foggy. The pilot didn't grab me in a total 'wow I HAVE to watch all of this at once' kind of way, so it's not something I'll be putting on my 'to watch' list just yet, but then again I rarely feel that way right after one episode, so who knows. Currently it looks like I'm gonna be watching at least one more episode, since Matt is doing great in the poll, so it will likely have another chance to grow on me :)

*puts on nerd hat* I am not usually into the superhero shows, but what grabbed me with this show was the fact that the villain started out as a decent person and because of his love for the city he turned evil (kind of like Anakin turning into Darth Vader because of his love for Padme). And even as a "villain" Fisk shows love and kindness towards certain people. He has a human side, which I find fascinating. However, there is a lot of action/fighting in the show, so if that's not your cup of tea then I can see how you wouldn't like it. Honestly, I'm not usually into either superhero shows (Flash, etc) nor dark shows (Jessica Jones) but I liked this show for the above reason. I mean, going back to Lost I was endlessly fascinated by Ben's love for Alex- this supposedly super evil guy but he did love her so much and had that human side to him.

Another great set!

My faves from jsfunction are Regina (OMG! The complexity!), Wolfgang - there definitely need to be so many more icons of him, which is why I voted for him again, Peter (great composition), and Hook (love the grungy texture).

From shameless666: Oh so hard to choose, they're all fantastic. Olivia, Wolfgang (love the coloring and the way the text boxes him in - my absolute fave!), Forrest (so much depth) and Hook.

From thyla87: Love the coloring on Stiles, Olivia and Forrest (I wish I could consistently get that effect to work), and Regina is just mind-blowing. Awesome texture choice plus the slanted shadow!

I'm going to snag a few of those for sure.

I'll send you the current list of characters so you can take a look and decide if you like them enough to want to icon them. We don't have a strict time frame but it would be great if one round didn't take much longer than two weeks. So if you could make them by 10th or 11th Jan it would be ideal, but it's always possible to give more time if needed :) also this is just theoretical since I'm 99% sure I'll be the last one to finish mine again :s

Thanks for another fantastic round guys! Idk if you're still around / tracking the post but here are some of my favorite icons anyway:

shameless666: First of all I love how cohesive your two sets have been. both this one and the last one look so good as a whole with those strong reds, blues and yellows! The Stiles icon has amazing lighting and I love that it's dark yet vibrant - that's one of the hardest colorings for me to achieve but I love it when others do it! The Olivia icon is incredible, love the text and texture use. Wolfgang is all kinds of perfect as well, really digging the muted browns and what you did with the text is super creative! And finally I really love the bright vibrant coloring, strong contrast and awesome text use on Hook :)

thyla87: The Olivia icon stands out to me cause I really love the coloring, the green you chose for the background looks really nice with her yellow hair. I love the composition and the idea behind the Tony icon, I like that it's a combination of text blocks and character blocks. The Matt icon is lovely cause it's so clean, and the subtle glow looks fantastic against the light background color. And finally I really love the Forrest icon, the duotone coloring looks really pretty, the orange+green combination is gorgeous and I love how bright and summery it looks :)

This time you weren't the last one lol so don't worry, I still track it and just got some times to read and reply to everything that has be going past 2 weeks, still I have so many nominations to make :D

and now, thank you so much! For the Stiles icon I was kind of inspired by his void!Stiles arc, so I wanted to include both sides in the icon - dark and light and I was realy happy that it did work in the end :D And I'm really glad you picked the other 3, because as you already know, they were my favourites too :D I wasn't sure about the text in Wolfgang, I've already used all his short quotes and this one was so long, so I had to place it somehow, even if it's not that readable :D i don't know how you manage to include so much text in your icons :D TEACH ME MASTER! :D

- Olivia - YOU NEED TO TEACH ME HOW TO PAINT!!! This icon is georgeous, so many colors, it's like candy for my eyes! ♥
- Wolfgang - the composition on this one is great, I'm always amazed how you manage to include so many things in a 100x100 square! The text is great, as is the duplicating the image. The use of color on the b&w is great too!
- Forrest - amazing close crop and the vintage muted coloring is great, coloring that movie was such a pain in my ass, great job!

I so hear you regarding Lawless. It wasn't easy to color. And I definitely liked this Wolfgang better than my last one so it was nice to get another shot, too bad he got eliminated :/

Well, at least we had him for 2 rounds and he was so close for the 3rd too :/ I'm surprised Teen Wolf has still such a strong fanbase, I thought everyone was over it by now, since last 2 seasons weren't as great as the others, but new episodes are coming so I think my excitement for the show will be brought back :D

Yeah, I think we might see Stiles sail from start to the very last set, he's just that popular. I've kinda grown over him tbh, he was at his best in the void stiles arc and some other darker scenes, but in supposedly humorous scenes he's just grating on my nerves now. Idk why. I did like s4 a lot but s5a was kinda crappy so I'm not that big on TW right now anyway, but I do still like Malia, Scott and Lydia a lot (and Peter is a forever fave, too bad he's no longer in it D:). But still, I hope s5b will restore my love for the show and maybe even Stiles if they give him some good material :D

(nah, I'm definitely not a natural, most of the time I try the effect it doesn't work at all, but then I just leave it out so nobody knows how badly I screwed it up xD)
