I think it's an amazing comm to try all the different things - have you figured out the 'classes' system yet and if so, do you know which you'll focus on? (ignore the question if you haven't) So glad you joined! Did you sign up for a guild too and if so, which one did you get? I'm a Woods dweller myself!
I'm in the Woods, too! The classes are hero, rogue, wizard, and the other one, right? I think I'm going to push myself to do more wizard-type icons than I would normally do, just because I've gotten in a rut of "clean up, standard gradients, bottom-thirds crop, texture."
Yes, those are exactly what i meant :) ('the other one' would be Bard, the text/storytelling icons). Great to hear you're venturing into Wizardy stuff, so many different options there! I think I'll try to divide my points equally, but if I had to pick one I think I'd focus on Hero - coloring is actually my favorite part of iconing!
