I know there's not a ton of people around, but why not give this a try and see if it inspires a couple of makers? It doesn't look like monthlyinspo is coming back, so there haven't been any multifandom challenge comms for bigger sets in a few months. Personally one reason I haven't been so into making icon lately is the lack of this type of bigger challenge - you know how I hate making these icon dumps of just random icons, I feel like there's no excitement of just posting stuff that people have seen before, not like there is for posting a brand new full set for a challenge. So I just decided to stop complaining and start solving the problem. We'll guarantee to run it for 6 rounds at least and after that re-evaluate if there's enough participation, so if you're at all interested, participate while it's there! The first challenge will be posted on tuesday and I think it will be a lot of fun :D If you want to spread the word, which would be super great, you can find the promo code here in the info post!

Wow, there are so many awesome icon activities and new comms and everything! I'm sure most of you already know of these things but I wanted to pimp them anyway:

Any Teen Wolf fans among the watchers here? If so, please consider participating in this awesome battle at icontalking. Everyone adds one character and one theme to the mix. We have a nice amount of participants but more would be even better! plus, some great characters like Scott and Stiles are still missing! Surely someone would like to see and make icons of them? Or maybe you have rare fave, in which case this is your chance to get lots of icons of them!! :) sign ups close sometime on tuesday.

All the wonderful bestof_icons activities, this being the first one. I've had a lot of fun the two times I've participated in this, so everyone should consider checking this activity! :)

Also, I'd really love to get to know other icon makers better, I know there are other makers who are still active, so could I just recommend everyone to join icontalking? It's just for talking basically (about icons and other stuff) so if you're an iconer who likes interaction you're definitely welcome there!! :)
