Hi guys! I guess I'm back after a summer break. These are all the icons I've made lately for various comms such as oddlyspecificon, iconsomething, the7days, color_inspired and capicontest. It's not a big icon dump but it's a start, I fully intend to come back to regular posting but we'll see how it goes!

This time I've focused mostly on trying new things with composition and texture use. That means that some of these might be just a little bit weird :) I still hope you'll find something to like! I enjoyed making these very much but my next set probably won't be as crazy.

You know I love these! The compositions and use of multiple images is super inspiring!

I love animated Ron, the flat, vibrant colouring in the Ron icons is amazing in general, so the extra animated paint splashes are just brilliant.

Loving everything about those two Lost icons. The paranoia and bright colours of the first one along with the numbers texture (and your own numbers) is perfect! The second is so, so clever and basically a work of art! ❤

The inverted colours of 6 look great, I love the crop and colours of 8, and the texture/double exposure effect on 10 is fantastic!

Also loving the compositions/colouring of 11, 15, 16 and 17. Gorgeous use of colour and texture on 19, that icon is stunning! And WOW at the vibrant colours of 21 and 22. I love the lighting on Lafayette in particular, and the use of stock/screencaps on 21 works so well!

Everything is brilliant, oh my!

I'm trying not to explode because you made a painty Ron Swanson gif and it's amazing :D I love the painted moustache so much, and the contrast between the vibrant colours and the look on his face, it's so much fun.

Other favourites are 5, 6, 8 (I don't know much about that show but this icon looks punk and teenage in all the best ways!), 10 (that colour scheme and texture work!), 11, 12, 13 (love the blue/red colour scheme), 17, 19, 20 (that icon is both super funny and also very pretty, I'm snagging it!) and 21 (wow, those deep vibrant colours!)

You haven't forgotten anything but I hear you, I have the same resolution... I came up with this plan that if I dedicate one day of a week for commenting (and otherwise being around here) as much as I can, maybe that way I'll get it done more effectively than just trying to always be here and comment everywhere immediately. Cause that's stressful and impossible, but a commenting day sounds fun, so I'll try that :D

The compositions and texture work in these are absolutely incredible! I think my favorites are 1-3 (such cool pop-artish stylization!), 4 (love the contrast and the way you used that numbers texture), 5 (this could be a large sized artwork, it's so interesting and so beautifully done), 8 (COLORS!), 10 (gorgeous use of texture - if that is texture - and colors, love the grunge-y feel of it), 11 (lol), 13 (I adore the bold color scheme and the composition), 17 (very cool and conceptual use of this texture with tangled threads!), 18 (again, color and texture, ahh *_*), and 21-22 (stunning colors and stylization ♥).
I'm saving quite a few, thank you for sharing! :)

Ooooohhh gorgeous!

I especially like the animated Rons (that moustache!!!!). They remind me of that animated rumble icon you made (I didn't recognize the character in that one, so I forgot who it was), and I also remember you were really insecure about it back then, but everyone loved it. It's great to see that you used that style again, because it really is amazing.

4 is great - the way her eyes still look out at you from that flurry of numbers, and the coloring, wow.

5 is beyond description. I can't even. That tower, that textured face. So... wow.

Same goes for 13 - that bird right in the middle. You are so creative.

I really like the composition in 17, too. The grungy coloring in 19 is awesome.

I'm going to snag at least half of those for inspiration, omg.

Oh wow, thanks so much for the lovely comment! :) Haha YES I was totally thinking that the animated Ron is a bit similar to the one I made for t_r, but I like the Ron one a lot more cause there's a point there (grumpy Ron + color explosion), while there was only a little bit of point in the other one (the character was a painter/artist so I wanted to cover him with paint splashes... yeah I had no idea what to do for the theme 'hidden'). I was indeed super insecure about that one because it was for t_r where every icon is under a quality microscope and criticized in detail, I don't stress that much about any other community entries though so it wasn't so hard to revisit a questionable style from the past :D
