Here are the various icons I've made for misc icon comms in January. idk what's going on but I had a very active iconing month (for me). I just got my inspiration back, even for some other shows than the ones I'm the most passionate about, so now I can do my usual randomizing thing and stuff like that. Yay! This batch is quite varied in techniques and styles cause a lot of different things inspired me this month, and I've been trying to push myself a little out of my box sometimes, like participating in the close crops challenges that two comms happened to have this month. I already have so many ideas for what I want to do with icons next, so stay tuned I guess?? :D Anyway, hope you enjoy some of these! ♥

So many gorgeous, pretty colors as always! A few of these icons actually give me

absolutelybatty vibes (which is obviously an awesome thing), namely for the text use, like 13 and 33. 33 is particularly wonderful with that lighting, and the text is so masterfully used. I love text that has a bit of its own lighting and depth going on.

Digging the colors on 3, the painted look on 12, and the beautiful coloring and lighting in 14. It's such a simple icon, but the colors pop so nicely, and I love the glowiness. 17 and 18 are two of my favorite icons here. Love the crop, coloring and great text use in 17, and the colors and composition (that texture use) of 18 work brilliantly together. Wonderful funky colors and framing in 26. The icon is so fun and I love the drawn look of her hair.

Thanks so much for the wonderful comments. But nooo please don't compare these to batty's gorgeous work since these really don't compare, lol. I WISH. :') (the shiny the7days set was probably subconsciously inspired by her + nightbulbs coloring and lightingwise cause they're my lighting idols but I didn't really think the text was like her at all cause hers are super creative while I was a bit lazy with my font choices and everything but that makes me even more happy to hear you like it so much!)
