So first, my set for the 4th round at

20muses! The randomizer gave me Parks and Recreation season 5 for a subject, but lbr most of these aren't very season-specific (still from s5 caps tho). I love Parks and Rec, so this was a lot of fun!
For this challenge we were prompted to make simple icons. I wanted to make this set somewhat cohesive, so out of all the lovely techniques presented in the inspiration post, I chose to focus only on one thing: coloring. Vibrant coloring, to be specific, but the last row got a bit more pastelly :>
I don't think this is the best set from me, I think these are a bit... basic even for simple icons, but I made these really fast so this is the extent of my creativity atm :p Despite of that I think I did an alright job bringing my style into these even without some of my usual elements (text and complex compositions).

Basic hah!
No, these are really pretty. I think coloring is one of your strengths and it really shows here! The lighting is also spot on, especially in 5. Also the "muted" coloring in 14 and 17-19 fits you well, you should do more of this! My favs are 2, 5, 10, 12, 14 16, 17 and 18!

Btw, have you watched Sense8? Idk this!

I barely even bothered with textures even though I usually love them and I'm sure a bit of that would have been allowed even for this challenge!

I'm so behind on my commenting... I'll get to your lovely post eventually! And yes I've watched Sense8 a bit. I think maybe 8 episodes? I didn't really take it as a 'next to watch' show but it just got randomized for my first 100x100mystery set (I thought the icons would be displayed in sets so that's why I only used one fandom... weirdly enough nobody guessed 35 to be mine even though I obviously had a one-fandom set!) so that's why I watched a few more eps, after those two I had already seen for the random character project. I really like the show this far, I just need to find the time to finish s1. I don't even know if there's a second season? But I quite love all the characters and the idea is so cool in general, just my kind of show tbh :>

These are georgeous! I always admire your for your coloring, you're damn good at it! And even you couldn't go for crazy compositions and tons of text this time, your icons are still amazing!
My favourites from the 20muses set are 2, 5, 6, 9, 15, 16, 17 and 18! From the rest of the icons as you probably know already, I love 25, 26, 29, 30, 31, 34, 36 and 42! :D

COLOR! Lots of gorgeous colors here! I don't think they look simple at all, which is a good thing for a simple set. :)

These are not basic, just look at all these colors! I love all the greens and pinks. My favorite is probably the first one, the coloring and lighting is just amazing. The lighting on 2 and 4 is also great, just like the background on 8. 9 is also awesome with it's negative space. The pastels on the last row are also very pretty :D

Oh my God, such a delightful mixture of colors and... well, colors! :) I just realised how much I miss P&R! I think #13, #19, #21 and #26 are my favorites. I also may have a slight obsession with negative space so do not judge me for my choices :)) They all look delicious!

I love how you stay true to yourself even when you step out of your comfort zone. The colors here are very you and I would recognize them as yours instantly. The vibrancy is just wonderful. I love 5 and the blues in 8 are such a great contrast for all the yellows. I love 9 and what you did with 13 sososo much. Pastels in 19 are perfect, love this set!

I'm amazed how you come up with these colors, when I try this in photoshop I always end up scraping them (I made something very similar to your #13 here and ended up deleting it, I don't know why I always absolutely love when other people use bright, bold colors but I hate it when I do it, lmao).

Your entire 20muses set is gorgeous, I really love the coloring and the lighting is stunning! I saved all the ones from your the7days set, I forgot to comment when I saw them but these are just really amazing and I wholeheartedly approve of the Braca/Scorpius one! :D

These are truly wonderful, I adore your pastel yet vibrant coloring very much, and I love all the elements in the icons fit together.

wow the colours - so gorgeous! 15 and 18 are my favourite, the vibrancy coupled with the softness, so so pretty.

Always GORGEOUS coloring and AWESOME compositions♥
I'm in love with 5 this green-yellow coloring is wonderful and love the simplicity and minimalism in 6.
And colors of 10 are out standing this icons is just make me smile when i look at it. Love monotone subjects in 13.
Soft and at the same time vibrant pink in 18 and 20 is astonishing.

Love you text compositions in the7d icons esp. Crowley is the King of this set♥

Oh wow, I'm just in love with 5. The colouring in that icon is absolutely gorgeous- the right contrast, the right colouring for her skin and the whole icon just shines thanks to the lighting. Incredibly beautiful! Also, great lighting in 4 and 8. Great use of text in 28 as well as the bright vibrant colouring. And I adore the texture/background use in 33 as well as the cropping in 32 and 33. Beautiful colouring in 36 as well. Just such pretty icons!

You can't go wrong with vibrant+bright colors in my book! I like that set. It's beautiful to look at as a whole, and I like how the simple compositions bring out your coloring - 13 and 14 especially stand out to me.

Of the rest, I really like the negative space on 21, and your text work is great as always - 25, 34, 42 are most impressive.

Oh, oh, and 23 with Scorpy on a leash! Awesome! The love for some fandoms just never dies.
