*puts on nerd hat* I am not usually into the superhero shows, but what grabbed me with this show was the fact that the villain started out as a decent person and because of his love for the city he turned evil (kind of like Anakin turning into Darth Vader because of his love for Padme). And even as a "villain" Fisk shows love and kindness towards certain people. He has a human side, which I find fascinating. However, there is a lot of action/fighting in the show, so if that's not your cup of tea then I can see how you wouldn't like it. Honestly, I'm not usually into either superhero shows (Flash, etc) nor dark shows (Jessica Jones) but I liked this show for the above reason. I mean, going back to Lost I was endlessly fascinated by Ben's love for Alex- this supposedly super evil guy but he did love her so much and had that human side to him.
