I realized I hadn't posted in ages, and that this year is over soon, so now would be a good time to get rid of all the unposted icons in one huge dump. This is everything I've made in half a year, so even though this post is big I still can't say I've been a very active icon maker lately... This may or may nor be the last post of the year for me, maybe I'll do another post around new year but not sure yet!

If there ever was a category for best colors EVERYTHING, you'd totally win. I mean, seriously, LOOK AT THEM. I'm basically unable to make cheerful icons, so I'm in awe of yours!
And how do you even keep inventing such new cool things?! Like this icon. I've never even seen a composition like that and it's just so awesome.

wow, thank you so much for this wonderful comment!! ♥ I looove all kinds of colors, but for some reason i keep making everything bright and vibrant - I think it's about the caps, now that I've mostly been iconing Lost I can't resist using all the scenery to make it colorful, but Sherlock for example has very different caps, so that set is more muted.

THIS IS A LIE I mean look at the Juliet icon I posted these with, it's definitely cheerful-colored perfection! but ofc I love alll the other colorings you do too, especially all the gradient map mastery.

omg, I'm honestly surprised that you just used the words 'new' and 'invent', I reaaally struggle with composing stuff tbh and I feel like I don't have any creative ideas most of the time, haha. That icon you linked to was a lucky accident, and mostly a result of the awesome challenge and that profile cap, I loved that cap so much that I had to use it yet it didn't seem to go with the usual interpretation of 'background text' at all so I had to find another solution and that was it basically :D so glad you like it!!

Congratulations on your awards, lovely! You totally deserve them! And I am so chuffed that your took out a best lighting award as well! What a good! :D

Everything in this post is flawless, as per usual, even if I've seen most of it before! #80 continues to slay me. I love the matte color combinations; they are killer. And your blacks are just so clean and beautiful. Gosh, I could just stare at that icon all day. And of course 107 continues to be a textual inspiration to me. Seriously. It is just so fabulous. All that text but everything is still so clear and contained and lovely. Also I am just so impressed with the yellow-green shirt in Category 3 of the 20in20 set. I don't know what that stands out so much to me, but it does. I like green/yellow/purple combinations; they are so fresh and beautiful and eye catching. So maybe that is why...but yeah, just the coloring on his shirt is amazing.

Anyway, everything is on point in this post from text to coloring to cropping to composition. ♥

I AM SO WEIRDED OUT BY THAT LIGHTING WIN. I mean I never ever expect to place in any category, but out of all the technical categories, 'lighting' would be my last guess o.O I always list it as a weakness rather than a strength of mine so... no idea where that came from, especialy since that icon is one of the only ones I made this year that weren't for a challenge or anything, just random fiddling with PS, and while I don't hate the icon or anything, I didn't think it was anything memorable either :p

cat3 was my favorite of the 20in20 icons, I'm so glad you like the shirt! I'm actually quite proud of that coloring cause that cap was extremely cyan/green so I'm just happy I got some other colors into it (hue/saturation was the savior here) :)

My goodness there's so much to look at in this post. All the colors are gorgeous and the style is great. I took some Lost icons. I never watched Sherlock and I only saw a few Dr. Who episodes, but those are so pretty that I want to snag them.

Okay, wow, that's a lot of pretty icons!
I love the more muted vintage coloring on 9, 22, 37, 96 and 106. But the vibrant look of 5, 10, 32, 38, 92 and 100 is also awesome. And your composition of course! Category 5, 85 and 93 are just amazing and it's just fun to look at them and discover the little details. I really like all the of the Sherlock icons, as well :D

I'm so happy to see a new icon post from you! I've seen that first batch over at watchnicon but everything looks even better now that it's all compiled together. Can we just talk about those bright, vibrant pastel colors in 11? I mean, your coloring is always funky and wonderful, but I love how light and happy the colors here feel. I'm sure the screencaps with all that natural greenery were really inspiring, and you made every color pop. 12 and 35 kinda make my heart hurt but I love that you made Jin/Sun icons. More wonderful coloring in 17, 25 (his hair is so fiery and wonderfully yellow, it stands out so much), 32, 37 and 38 (this really stands out with those colors, wow... it also makes me want watermelon for some reason). Onto your 20in20, I really like seeing your trademark retro style in geometric framing. It's so simply done yet so effective, and all the colors share the spotlight. Cat5 has such an interesting composition and I love the muted pastel colors. Really fun and interesting composition in AC1 as well.

As for the Lost character battle, I've already expressed my love for several of these, but I just need to reiternate how great 80-83 are (saved 80 and love it to pieces), as well as 95. And moving on, I'm digging the retro look and composition of 102. And helloooo 107. The coloring is fantastic of course, but how about that text work? You arranged it so beautifully and everything makes sense together. I like how you used different fonts but it doesn't seem jumbled or cluttered at all. It all just fits perfectly. Jealous of how you were able to do that.

I loved the Lost battle and those were probably my personal favorites of the icons I've made lately, so I'm super happy that you liked so many of those as well. I don't even know how to began this, I think the best way to describe my feelings over this post is with a very warm i hate you. Everything is so gorgeous I don't know where to start! I don't know how you colour HOW DO YOU and how you work compositions HOW DO YOU, but these are just amazing. There are so many I love!! I absolutely adore your more bright colouring stuff [like: 79, AC5 (!!!!!), 38 (which is one of my faves of all the post, those colouuurs!), 25 (although a bit more muted still !!) and 5!] but then there's this lovely more muted colouring which just blows me away too [like: 120, 106 (I LOVE THIS ONE DEEPLY), 86, 80, natural, 22, 16, 12 (!!!)] and then on top of that those amazing compositions [like: 110, 107, 95 (TEXT LOVE), 85 (MORE TEXT LOVE) & 5 from category]

also, all the beautiful text.

Wow. What an amazing post of icons. The colouring is just so unique and different and yet so vibrant and alive. I'm incredibly impressed by the colouring and how you manage to pull it off. And just how every single icon has a different feel to it, how unique they all are and how you seem to be trying something different in every icon. Just incredibly gorgeous. There are several icons that I'm saving and there are so many icons that I'm love so I'm going to try to point out a few top favourites. Like for instance the colouring in 111, wow, that is so beautiful. The texture use in the icon is also amazing. I also love 101 and the texture use there- it's so intense, but you make it work. And 107 is stunning- the use of text is so beautiful and incredibly fitting- you really capture so much of the relationship in just one tiny 100x100 icon. Love it.

14, 15 and 18 are some of my other favourites. I again love how you make the colouring work in 15 and just the use of text in all these icons is amazing- incredibly beautiful. I also love the colouring and lighting in for instance 23, 35, 38 and 46. And 44 and 45 are simply stunning. Wow. The soft colours and the use of blending, background, text- everything just comes together and it just fits. Gorgeous icons!
