This post is my watchnicon entry for challenge 5 + some Hannibal made for a missingfaction activity. tbh I feel like I have no business posting icons now that I've had so little time to even be around lj lately, but I'm hoping that will change now that exam week is over and things might be a little less hectic for a while at least :)

The participation at watchnicon has been really low lately so it would be super fantastic if you'd consider joining us! But regardless of the participation, I'm definitely continuing my Lost rewatch + icon project anyway, and probably the DW one as well, but these would be much more fun with some company, so if you'd be interested in a shared rewatch + icon project for either of these shows, let me know :>

1x01 Pilot pt1 AWESOME season opener that sets the perfect creepy mysterious atmosphere!
1x02 Pilot pt2 Great continuation that focuses more on the characters. Also, love the french transmission plot, another chilling moment.
1x03 Tabula Rasa Pretty good episode, love the twist of Kate being the criminal.
1x04 Walkabout sdasfsdfsdf amazing episode about the amazing Locke. So heartbreaking, and gives the first glimpses of how much his off Island life sucks. Also did I mention that I love Locke?? ♥
1x05 White Rabbit Not one of my favorite episodes, but I like ghost!Christian leading Jack to the water.
1x06 House of the Rising Sun Love Sun and her story in this. Jin is awful, but this time I at least know he'll get better.
1x07 The Moth The anvil might be a little heavyhanded here but it's still a pretty wonderful episode. So much hate for Liam though. Locke is awesome.
1x08 Confidence Man YES awesome episode, love where this takes both Sawyer and Sayid, great character development. Could skip the Skate but otherwise stellar episode, especially the twist with Sawyer's letter.
1x09 Solitary Fascinating backstory here, Sayid is such a complex and amazing character. Also, ROUSSEAU!! Love her, she's my favorite female character. This episode really moves the plot forward.
1x10 Raised by Another Claire is awesome, and also the cutest character ever (yes, she might even beat Ben's gorgeous bug eyes, but only slightly). Love this episode, especially the creepy dreams, the creepy psychic and SUPER CREEPY ETHAN.
1x11 All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues This is a little painful for me to watch, I just can't deal with how awful Christian is. Like, in s6 when he's supposed to be some sort of guiding figure to them all, I can't buy it cause I'm still stuck on this ep. Other than that, awesome episode with a stellar Sawyer&Sayid scene + my favorite s1 storyline - the hatch plot - gets started!
1x12 Whatever the Case May Be My least favorite of these, and of LOST in general. I don't like this particular part of Kate's backstory, and she's really annoying on the Island in this one as well. And the rest of the episode is the start of Shayid which is another big no for me.

I love these early episodes and how the mysteries start building up, but at the same time I'm anxiously waiting to get to the really good parts, starting from 2x14 ;)

...and, a small Hannibal entry for this awesome challenge at missingfaction; if these don't make sense it's because I've never actually seen the show, haha. The point was to icon what we think it's about, only based on icons we've seen!

What I think I know about Hannibal based on icons I've seen:

(40) These are the main characters: Hannibal and Wil(?).
(41) They have an interesting relationship. A lot of people seem to ship them. I've seen shippy icons of this scene so I assume some interesting interaction is going on here, but I have no idea what :D
(42) Hannibal (I think?) likes to talk about 'his design', whatever it is. It seems to refer to Wil for some odd reason.
(43) There's a lot of eating. I don't know if this particular meal is of the creepy kind or not but there really seems to be an awful lot of cooking and eating going on :p
(44) This Hannibal person likes to sit on a couch.

(45) Actually the show is mostly about stags.
