watchnicon; the challenge of the month was to icon things that we loved particularly much or things that in some way made an impression on us ever since the first time watching. These are from DW episodes 1x01-1x08, three icons for each episode.

That said, Rygel's image at nr. 35 made me laugh out loud: I don't know if it's the picture of the (frozen) Dominar in his underpants, or the highlight given by the color, but I found that it enhanced the humor of the moment.

It's funny you say so, cause I have to admit cropping (the thing you're describing here I think) is what I pay the least attention to - I just go for the basic center crop most of the time. But thanks, I'm glad you like them :D
And I had a lot of fun with that frozen Rygel icon, it's such a fun and absurd scene, very Farscape, so ofc I had to icon it, it's definitely one of the best things about TGIFA!

the DW set is just so lovely, it's so nice to see S1 icons as well! I love how you made the colours really pop in some of them and managed to give the others this vintage feel that goes so well with the show!

Iconing s1 is so difficult but also fun cause there are all these caps I haven't used before, or even seen used much. It's very inspiring, glad you like the colors! :>

I really love your bold, vibrant coloring on 1, 19, 22, 51 and 56. Absolutely love the silhouette effect on 56. Oddly I find 4 a little creepy but in a good way. And the composition on 5, 6, 23, 28, 33, 59 and 62 is stunning.

Also now that I've looked at this even more, the Farscape ones are really gorgeous. The colors are just stunning overall though!

Terävöitys on täydellinen 18 ja väritys 19:sta. Rakastan kuinka uskalias ja luova 21 on. Todella mahtava kontrasti ja vahva väritys. Upeaa tekstuurin käyttöä myös.
Farscape ♥ Rakastan upeaa seepian väritystä 29:ssä. 31 on niin hauska. LOL :DMyös 35 on niin ihana :D Upea tausta ja värit !Ihana valo ja väritys toimivat erittäin hyvin 32. 47 on upea terävöitys ja väritys. Mahtava rajaus. !! Ja vou... Väritys 51 on eirttäin taitavaa ja kaunista.
54 on tajuttoman kauniit värit ja maalaus on todella upea ! Rakastan tekstuurin käyttöä 55 ja väirtys on ihana 58. 59, 60&62 on täydellistä jakantumista (you know.. levels/blcoking :p). And 63 on ihana :)
Rakastan väritystä 65, 66, 68 ja 69 !! Tausta on todella upea 67. Lostissa on upeaa grunge tyyliä ♥
Otan käyttööni 1, 10, 17, 35, 47, 54 , 55, 58, 59, 63, 66, ja 68. Paljon siis :D Tuntuu ihan joululta ;) KIIIIITOOOOOSSSS!!!!

Your multifandom icon batch is gorgeous! I guess we're just all our own harshest critics. Amy's hair and clothing pop so much in 54, which looks really interesting against her more muted skin and the background. 55 just has a really fantastic composition and muted pastel look. And I love the creativity in 56. You used a silhouette but found a way to make it unique with those little touches (I adore how the strands of his hair look, and that little bowtie). The subtle texture use in the background is also marvelous. Great coloring in 58 and 63 as well.
Dancing in my chair because you're making more and more Lost icons, and that's always a good thing! 70 has really beautiful lighting and coloring.

but oh gosh how i've missed your icons! (and you ofc C:)
pfff just with the first icon i'm like crying. such beautiful colours. i feel like i've opened a bag of skittles and m&ms and added some rainbows and sunshine *_* 4 is brilliant, basically. i love how you've incorporated my 2 fav techniques you do so amazingly. bright colours + vintage = epic winning :D oooh and the composition of 6 is fantastic. the colouring on both 10 and 11 kill me. 11's gorgeous use of pastel colours literally warms my heart, wow! the masking is just so wriuhgworighw incredible! and i love the glowy effect, like in 13, 15 and 17. and the crop on 18!!! the monochrome colour, along with the crop and the incredible text composition of 26 is breathtaking. 27's colouring is giving me feels, because omg how do you make your colours pop so much! and so SHINY 8D same applies for 34 and 35. 39 features yet another brilliant pastel coloured icon and i think i am in love with this new technique :D 43's shading and monochrome is so intriguing and simple, but captivating.44. what can i say, borders and vintage look, i am 100% sold. 53's colouring is a killer. i love how it's got light on the left and such rich darks on the right. 54's colouring is also another brilliant icon and 55's composition just woooow. but i think 56 has to be my favourite from this post. it's absolutely fabulous and oh so pretty and unique! i love love love everything about it :D sobbing at 56, because earlier seasons of spn caps are so dark and hard to colour and you have made those colours ~*POP*~ and it's just so pretty to look at. but obv you have experience with hell caps, i mean the early DW ones are crazy dark and muddy and you make them shine
bright like diamonds. and i applaud you for the composition of 59. as well as 62. gosh your texture work is out of this world. 65 and 66's colouring just HOW, TOMMY, HOW. magnificent work on 71 as well, the crispness and the crop work so well!UGH, THIS POST IS SO FULL OF WIN AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE MOAR ICONS FROM YOU, BECAUSE I'VE MISSED YOUR BEAUTIFUL INSPIRING POSTS AND ALSO YOU AND I AM JUST SO GLAD TO BE BACK :D ♥
