20 William Adama (BSG) icons

Again an icon post! This time for character20n20. My character of the round was William Adama from Battlestar Galactica. My main agenda here was to show that while I mostly icon young pretty girls, that's not something I depend on, so I just wanted to show I could also work with an older guy who is by no means ugly, but not 'pretty' either. Of course not all of the same colorings and styles would fit for Adama, which was a cool extra challenge - an opportunity to step away from the super vibrant glowy style towards a darker and deeper colors and even some grungy stuff (again, way too addicted to textures by fuuurs). I must say I really really enjoyed this all and really hope it works for you too! :)

oooh I LOVE rage. And I love your choices for the category, really unique.
my absolute favourite is definitely AC3. Its GORGEOUS and just so brilliant and the composition and just ah its great.
AC5 is also fantastic.

Love the coloring of these and while I didn't watch BSG (well, the new version. Loved the original. LOL) You really did justice to the character. The textures you chose worked very well. I particularly like "warm, Extreme Vibrancy and AC5

These icons are really fantastic! Makes want to start the show even sooner!
my favourites are Fav Moment, Rage, Sepia, Small, Warm, Cat1, Cat5, AC3 & AC4!
Really I wish I'd watch BSG because I would totally use some of these!

That's me with most of the shows I've got on dvd. it sucks, but you can't avoid it I think.

Oh, that's unfortunate :/ I mean obviously there are more important things to have than a tv show so I shouldn't try to talk you into a buy like that, especially if you haven't seen any of it yet so who knows if you'd even like it - it would kinda suck to spend that much on a whole show and end up not even watching it to the end :P then again it is definitely one of the most appreciated scifi shows so chances are you'd love it like most others. Tricky question!

Or you could ask around if any of your friends have it on dvd - I'm always lending scifi to and from a few people :D I guess the other option is just to hope it'll air again in your country soon enough, I was lucky and it happened to be on air just as I became interested in it in the first place. (But then I got impatient at the 'one ep/week' speed and had to buy the seasons :p)

Well I think I'm going to do it because I've got a 10€ coupon and it's really cheap then i guess. how many seasons are there?
I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy it because I have't really watched a scifi show which i didn't love yet.

Unfortunately I'm one of that persons who don't have friends with the same interest, so no one got them :(
I never watch shows when they air on the tv because i always forget to tune in in time and miss everything. Only did that with Eureka S3 & S4-5 of SGA. (I know your impatience lol.)

Do you watch Continuum? (Don't really know if it fits your taste, but I love it :DD)

Oh, that sounds good :> There are four seasons (and a couple of movies but they're not that crucial). Hee, I'm the same with scifi, I've loved it all.

I haven't watched Continuum but it does sound interesting so if I find it in any Finnish online shops I could give it a chance (you're not the first person to recommend it to me so I guess it must be good!)

Ok, these are great...I love how your style is evolving...

Ac#1 is probably my fav of them all. I love that deep silhouette and the slightly grungy texture!
