Oh wow, just look at all the beauty in this post! All of you did fantastic things with the caps :) I'm a bit overwhelmed by this giant wall of awesome, so I'll just pick three favorites from each of you:

It's so good to see how bold and experimental you're being with textures lately! Love the text and the muted colors in the first one, it all fits so well together :) The Martha one has fantastic crop and coloring (love the blue tint you gave it!) and I love what you did with the framey texturing in the third pick - it's subtle but gives the icon a nice composed look! Love the crop too.

How is it that every time I see icons from you you've made a ton of progress?! :O These have some really awesome coloring going on in particular. The muted tones of the Rose one are gorgeous while the Amy one is so bold and refreshing with the extreme vibrancy! The Jack closeup has lovely depth/softness to it, as well as a great crop.

Omg your lighting and texture use are getting more and more awesome with each set you make. The Jack one just kills me with the gorgeous texture use/composition, the Clara one is 100% quality icon in every way (lighting, coloring, contrast...) and I loooove what you did with the Master, the border-y texture looks so great!

I just love your colorings and creativity! Looove the first pick especially - we were the only ones to go for a cutout with that cap so *high five* also asdfsdfdf major props for managic to keep the shadow like that :OO The textured orange background looks fantastic too. The composition of the Martha one is just as awesome as your blocking always is (=VERY awesome), and omg the text use on the Clara one is just so creative and well executed!

LIGHTING MASTERY ^^ Love it so much in these three especially, and the warm vibrancy of the Jack and Martha ones is just so eye-catching and pretty but then again I also adore how the colored light adds to the bw in the 4th doctor one! There's something really captivating about the lowish, muted contrast on it too and the lighting is again really well positioned.

LOVE how vibrant your icons are, with strong and bold contrast! The brightness and the vibrant yellow hair in the Rose one look gorgeous as well as the crop, the 11/Amy/Rory one has really lovely brown shadows and a bit more toned down look which also works so well, and Jack is again so bold-colored and eye-catching! :)

Gah you're just too good ok, everything is so creative with perfect coloring and lighting. I love literally every single of your icons here but these are my top 3; the unusual coloring of Amy is just incredible, the flower looks so pretty with the Martha cap and the blue coloring, and I adore the pale purples and text in the Clara one!

Love your colorings and creativity! The lighting in that Martha one is amazing as well as the crop and the text (really like the font and rotation!), and wow at the colors in my second pick - I love how the vibrant yellow contrasts with the purple shadows, really eye-catching and gorgeous. And the Jack one has great composition, I especially dig the uneven level heigth! :>

So many icons with amazing colorings and compositions! ♥ I especially love these three; the Jack one has such lovely bold reds and really great blocking, the Amy one also has really strong coloring (love how the orange hair pops against the soft purples, the contrast and lighting are spot on too) and the Martha one has so much soft, subtle beauty to it, really love the coloring and lighting!

Whoa, your colorings and texture use and lighting are fantastic ok! I adore the geometrical texture use on the Amy one, what can I say, quirky compositions like that are my crack. Love the color combo too. Perfect icon! The grungy texturing on the Master is freaking awesome as well, and I looove the composition (especially what you did with the color bars) on the Martha one!

I'm really glad you like the Jack and 11 ones - I had so much fun making them both. The Jack one might be one of the weirdest icons I've ever made though so I didn't expect anyone to actually like it, haha :D Martha gave me a hard time (she's been doing that a lot lately...) and my result looks quite hideous to me but hey good to hear someone likes it. The silhouette one however was my personal favorite of my icons and the only one I was really happy with, so I'm particularly thrilled that you picked it! :>

Yep, definitely! But let's have your and Erin's activity here first, really looking forward to that :D besides I really need a break before organizing another one, this was quite a bit work in the end, but I'm just so happy with the participation this got - 11 makers with about half going for extra challenges as well was SO much more than what I expected! \o/

Thanks for showing your favorites!! :) I'm really glad you like the Master one, as I obviously really wanted to do the cap justice, hee ♥ The first Martha is fine I guess but I reaaally don't get why people like that Martha closeup, it's so LQ looking it's not even funny! :O That always happens with my close cropped icons yet I keep trying them anyway, lol. Or maybe I'm just seeing my own stuff more critically than I should, idk :D

That Master one is just so simple and pretty, I really love it. I would definitely snag it if I were using Master icons! As for the Martha icon, I think the colors are really nice and it kind of fits with the grainy look it has with such a close up? IDK sometimes I just like icons and it's hard to say why!

Aw, thank you so much for showing your favorites!! And I'm so happy about all your picks for me too, because the 11 one was my own favorite as well, you're the first one to pick the 4th Doctor one (and it gave me major pain cause I had no idea what to do with it so I just slapped something random and yellow on it assuming nobody would find the result very good, lol), and I very obviously was the one to choose that master cap so I wanted to make something good with it, and ended up using a LOT of the textures from your inspiration folder sooo I'm really glad you like the result :>

I'd have to agree about the Martha cap! It's funny that that one has possibly the most variation but at the same time, the crops are mostly the same! We are goooood :D
