Oh. My. God. Where do I even start?

I'm sure others have said it before but you must be the reigning master supreme of blocking or something. It's something I associate with your icons and something you seem to pull off so effortlessly. 13 in particular is just, I don't know. It's just wow. I also really love the simpler composition in 1 and 11. The cleanliness of 1 in particular is really eye-catching. Or maybe it's the complementary colours? Either way, it's a really pretty icon.

I love the crop, monochrome and text work in 2 and 16, the muted colours in those and in 12 are incredibly lovely.

I think you're actually just the master supreme of composition to be honest. The longer I look at these icons the more I find to love. 17 and 18 fly under the radar at first glance but after a few moments my eyes just keep getting drawn back to them. There's so little to fault on either of them. Composition, colouring, they're got it all!

My absolute favourite of this entire set, though, I think is 5. I honestly don't know how you pulled it off but everything about it is just wow. The painted effect is spot on execution wise, the colour choices are perfect, the brightness and sharpness are also incredible. It's just a really, really phenomenal icon ❤️

Omg thank you so much!! ♥ I'm so glad someone appreciates the craziness going on in 5, that's the kind of icon that's definitely not for everyone but I'm sooo happy you think I pulled it off, it's so far from my usual bag of tricks, I can only think of a couple other cases where I tried something similar.

As for the blocking, 13 was heavily inspired by good old school blocking masters such as prettybutt. Tbh this texture did almost all the work but I'm so glad you like the result!

And I'm just so flattered you like so many aspects of these, it's always so great to hear your thoughts. It's crazy to think that we first interacted TEN YEARS AGO (holy shit, has it really been that long??), when I for some reason tried to give you concrit even though I was soooo new and bad at icons and had no idea what I was talking about xD

I feel like this set is so you! It's everything I love about your style, the unnatural colors, crazy compositions and text! My faves are 4, 10, 12, 17, 18 & 19, but they're all gorgeous of course!

My initial instinct was to applaud just for you doing extra hard mode alone. You did it so well, too. Nothing in this set seems repeated. There is such a fresh, new take on all of these <3

Honestly extra hard mode made this so easy for me, since I could just recycle caps and textures without having to spend ages looking for good ones :D Normally I need to rush my set towards the end but this one came to be much faster than that (I only posted it lateish because of small refinements that I didn't want to do before taking the three Christmas holidays off). I love 1, 2, 3, 5 (wooo! To get that particular icon to remake! \o/), 7, 8 (this one looks so much like all of mine, oops :D), 11 (I love how the more simple composition fits with the text better than in the original one imho), 13, 14 (so clean!), 15, and 18.

Haha the original Star Trek icon from 11's parents is suuuper old, from the fall of 2012 :D I was only beginning to get a grasp on text, that's probably one of the better icons I made in that era but still, there's a lot to be improved and the composition/text clash is definitely one of those things - I'm really glad you think it works better in the new one!

The composition here are crazy good??! Especially on 3, 4, 14 & 18! The complexity of 6 & 14 is so great, and I love how great the lighting looks in 8 & 11. I love the colors on 10, and compostion on 12, 15 and 18!

Stunning set. The color combo, lighting and coloring of 1 — flawless. The muted brown tone, text work and crop of 2 is lovely. Composition , coloring and text work of 4 is intricate and lovely. My most fav pick of the set is 10, stunning eye catching coloring, crop, sharpening and splash texture use. Coloring, lighting and text work of 20, the whole silhouette effect is amazing. I loved the blocking , coloring and color combo of 19. It has very soft lighting too. <3 15 looks amazingly put together, psychedelic, and the grungy purple coloring enhances the sci-fi feel. Perfectly merged with the bg too. 14 has such stunning and interesting composition and color combo. <3 I love how vibrant the coloring and lighting of 8 is. Contrasted with 12 which is very muted, very well crafted and punctuated by 11 , elegant blocking and color combo with neat text style. 9 looks amazing with coloring and blending and lighting is perfect. 5 has wonderful painting like coloring and effect and it looks amazingly realistic.

And the compositions — geometric shapes in 4, silhouette in 6 and complex composition in 12 are soooo good! But my absolute favorite is 10, I love this screencap and you did such a beautiful job with crop and color splashes matching the whole mood of screencap, I just love it so much<3

Thanks so much! :D That Clara cap is great, but this was honestly one of the more challenging combinations, the other parent icon was all vibrant and painty and those aren't elements I normally use in close crops (or even know how to use in them...) so this was so difficult, I'm extremely happy it seems to have worked though!
