Here's my set for monthlyinspo round 22, where we had to make icons inspired by movie posters. I came up with this idea of iconing my top 10 favorite live action movies, and each icon should be inspired by a poster of one of the other movies on my list.

I love that monthlyinspo is now a 10in30 style comm, as you can see I'm entering earlier than probably ever before so clearly this is working for me! I tried to be fast cause I'm thinking of also doing 20muses this month and I didn't want to lump these sets together because the styles will be very different. Instead I'm posting some other icons here as extras: a set for the7days, and some random 'practise icons' - I get rusty so fast that I need to keep making low-effort (= not for challenges) icons in order to not completely lose my touch, I like some of them so I wanted to post them here. (24 is from 2018 or maybe even 2017, I just found it from my computer, so if it looks familiar it's probably because I think I posted it at a_i at some point long ago).

So here they are, my top 10 movies, in order, inspired by each other's posters. I hope the inspirations are clear enough! Hover to see the fandom and which movie's poster it was inspired by. Click the icon to see the poster.

Thank you so much!! ♥ I'm glad to hear you like so many, I'm not used to making and posting a set this fast so I was afraid they'd look rushed but I'm trying not to be so obsessive about icons. Although that might get tested now cause I reaaaally want to make a super good set for 20muses cause like you said, that post is everything...

It is! I had a surge of inspiration at the beginning of the month and now the source has dried out a bit, but I'm determined to finish. Can't wait to see your set :) And I'm greatful for the month-long deadline, thank you for suggesting it!

I'm using like half of your DW icons, you're my go-to maker when I want to upload something new :D I'm lucky that one of my faves icons stuff I've seen, it's pretty rare these days.

Lol there's no set yet, literally zero icons, but I'll try! I really hope you find the inspiration for the rest of the set, how many icons are missing? My favorite method to find inspiration is to rewatch a movie or an episode and take notes, like quotes, general themes, and which scenes had good caps, but it's a super time-consuming way to icon, so it doesn't work for everyone.

Yeah me too, next month works great! I'm sure that after all these challenges I'll want to do something lower pressure next, and have a reason to go rewatch some 12 :)
