Guuuys, I'm very sorry I'm only here this late, been very busy with my 10in30 set, but anyway, thanks for entering such beautiful sets for round 8! I love everything tbh, you both did an amazing job with some rather challenging characters.
shameless666: First of all can we talk about your blending?? cause I've seen you rock those blends lately, the ones on Harry and Chii are freaking amazing! I particularly love the way you made normally colored Chii overlayed with a pink monochrome one, and how the pink image sort of fades to the bottom. Beautiful look, I'd never guess you had any trouble with these caps. And the entire composition on Harry is gorgeous, love the big blocky text pieces that are differently rotated, and ofc I'm a sucker for different monochrome combinations so the purple + blue combo here is really appealing to me :D And the negative space + replaced background icons are fantastic too, you pick great backgrounds for everything, I particularly love the pattern you used with Satine, the decoration seems to really fit her character and I just love the texture use, coloring and everything about the icon. Allison's is great too, love how fitting the background texture is! (omg I love how all of us chose an archery theme for Allison. I know there are more sides to her than just that but I'm kinda happy that that's what she's obviously most remembered for, and not for example being Scott's girlfriend).
thyla87: All the animation use in your set is so fun! I love that they all have very different ideas for the animation. I particularly like the animated text in the Jessica icon and how it's revealed word by word and finally we see JJ. Lovely lighting and coloring in this icon too, I really dig how vibrant her clothes look. Aw, the Stucky icon is super lovely, great blend and coloring and composition, the text is really nicely placed and composed. The Esmeralda icon has a great crop (close crops on animated icons are so hard imo, so great job with this!) and coloring and the soft lighting is especially fantastic. And another favorite is the Allison icon, I really like the clean blocking in this one and the neon colors you picked and how the bottom blocks are mirrored so it all looks very geometric and neat.
Lovely job both of you, hope you'll have fun for the last two rounds! :)
