I must have phrased this poorly. Writing this comment was definitely not a chore, don't worry, it was fun. :) What I meant was I always look at your posts and go "wow, I adore so many of these" and then life and stuff get in the way and I never get to let you know. I should make a js praise post, or go back and redo my pre-selection of your icons for my bestof_icons nomination comment! Anyway, I'm glad I have some time to spend on iconning and commenting on posts, that window of free time might close soon so I should make the most of it.
Of course brightness and vibrancy are my favourite things, so I really appreciated that evolution of your style but I never got a 'too yellow' or poorly contrasted feel from your icons. Though I got a new laptop in 2013 and may not have gotten back and looked at older icons since then, so Idk. Monitors are a tricky thing though. On my iPad, icons look more vibrant, less sharpened and better contrasted. On my sister's computer's screen everything looks more yellow and red. So, meh. I try to forget that what looks good on my monitor might look terrible on someone else's. ;) Though really good icons with look good on any monitor, even if the colour or contrast are slightly different, so I wouldn't worry about yours either way!
