Thank you so much *___* ♥ but, the first thing I must address is that you never, ever have ANYTHING to make up for and I never want commenting on my sets to be a chore for anyone, much less my friends and favorite lj people like you. So please don't even consider that aspect. But of course I am indeed super happy and flattered that you chose to write all of this!

I'm particularly happy that you see some sort of theme in all this chaos, and one that sounds very cool when described like that. Seriously, now I kinda want to intentionally go for 'futuristic vintage' but I have no idea how :D
oohh I forgot that my icons used to be slightly darker. That was not a stylistical choice but simply the fact that my monitor was different :p I got this new one about a year ago and suddenly my older work seemed dark, muted and badly contrasted, and kind of yellow... So if there's been a shift to more vibrant colors and brightness, that's why. Now if I only knew which monitor is closer to the iconmakers' average monitor!
