REQUESTS

Thanks so much to all our wonderful watchers, it's fantastic to know so many people are interested in our graphics! :)

How the requests work this time

Last time we struggled with iconing fandoms we didn't know, so this time we're offering two different options for requests:

1) a general request (a character, a ship, just the fandom in general, etc) from a fandom we're into; these fandoms are listed below. You can offer caps or a gallery link, this would be helpful, but it's not required.

OR

2) request from any fandom or other subject not in the list, with links to specific caps you want us to use (not just a gallery link). You can also use this option if your fandom is in the list but you'd like more of us to make graphics about it than just the ones who listed it.

Please don't request from a specific maker! If you go for option 1, the fandom determines which of us will fill the request. If you choose option 2, we'll all try to use the caps for something :) also the type of things you ask for can limit it a little since not all of us make all kinds of graphics.

What we could make

we could make the following types of items:

• bizarra: preferably: wallpapers (state size), sigtags (for landcomms - state team and name on tag), animated gifs; also possible: icons, tumblr graphics


• ghanimasun: icons, sigtags


• john_scorpy: icons

please state which kinds of things you'd like to get and the size of larger graphics if you want those. Otherwise each of us will just randomly decide what to make :D

Amount of things we'll make

To keep things fair we've decided to give max limits of how many things each of us will make for each requester:

• bizarra: 1 large graphic or 5 icons


• ghanimasun: 3 icons


• john_scorpy: 3 icons

feel free to request as many subjects/caps/fandoms as you want, but if it's more than these amounts we'll just pick what inspires us the most :) these are just initial thoughts based on our previous request thing, might change if we get very few or many requests.

Other things

• You must be a watcher of the comm to request.


• We haven't heard from sayuri_x yet but if she pops up and wants to participate, which would be fantastic ofc, we'll edit this post accordingly :>


• The graphics we'll make will be shareable (except sigtags naturally)


• We're all very busy and some of us (read: me) are freaking slow, so it might take a while for us to make them, but they will definitely be made!

Omg I'm just thrilled someone requested Lost :D and a subject I've only made one or two icons about before. Any other info: Thank you for the request post! And congratulations on 200 watchers (though you guys definitely deserve more.)

I especially love icons with fancy compositions and/or light textures (both for backgrounds and just for lighting) and/or lots of negative space. Also, blues, yellows, pinks, greens, especially the vibrant shades, though I also like pale shades too. I'm not really a fan of close crops, and generally not really fond of vintage, grunge, and other one-colour icons.

- Chiana/Jool, Jack/Kate - if you could find something or some scene where I'd be able to use the icon to say "you're the best" to whoever I'm talking to, that'd be awesome. If you can't remember one off the top of your head, though, no pressure.

- For the Cara icon - Since I had to capture the game screenshots myself, you can still see my status/player bar in the bottom left corner... please don't include that XD. I'm putting the 4 caps into two sets because I'd like to request that any icon featuring her have one cap from 1/2, and one cap from a/b. Contextually, this is a character brought up as a lady with an interesting history (caps 1/2) that she can't leave behind even after she becomes a vampire slayer (a/b), so if you were trying to convey some sort of feeling, it'd be about the past still having a presence in the present.
