If you're here to look for bestof_icons nominations or icons to remake for year 2014, most of this post doesn't fit the 'made in 2014' rule.
The ones that DO fit the rule are 1-9 (tho those are remakes already..), 25, 30, and 34-36


These were made for bestof_icons, the7days, capchallenge, jukeboxic, missingfaction and watchnicon, and lots of randoms made for nothing at all. I dislike making icon dumps so at least I tried to keep the size of this reasonable (well, under 100 at least) by leaving some of the most atrocious ones out, but I'm not very good at estimating how good an individual icon is so I didn't exclude that many. Really I'll try my best to make smaller posts from now on, this basically has all the random icons I've made since September so that explains the size :p

Just OMG! There are no words! I LOVE the textures you used for 1 and 3 of the remakes! 50, 51, and 55 are inspired! I especially love 55, that cap is excellent! Very impressive work!

Oh thank you for the wonderful comment!! It's not that i don't like these as individual icons, it's just that i don't really like posting this many icons at once, in a random batch like this. I love posting 20in20 entries cause they're small and cohesive (hopefully), but my icon dumps just are just huge and all over the place :c I'm really glad if you don't think so though, and thanks a lot for telling which ones were your favorites too, that is really helpful! :>

Especially the one you asked me to remake, I'm always nervous about activities like this, I know I did pretty well last year but this year I just felt like I couldn't improve any of them at all, so that was a little disappointing. But, if I made even one of them better, that's really fantastic to hear, so huge thanks for the wonderful comment!! ♥

LOL I never would have expected anyone to like the textured messes that are 1 and 3, so thanks! and it's so interesting that you'd call 50, 51 and 55 inspired - they were made at a time when my inspiration was probably at an all time low. It's quite encouraging to hear that I hadn't completely lost my touch even during the last few monhths of last year. That being said, chiana is just so iconable that it never takes much to make her caps work :D

Omg thank you so much!! I'm thrilled you like 24, I usually abuse vibrancy in the entire icon but in that one I wanted to try mixing really muted and really bright colors in the same icon and see what happens - really glad you like the result!
(LOL when iconing Farscape most of my icons tend to be of Chi cause she's just perfect for icons, and also an awesome character in general :D)
