33 Donna Noble icons

Well, I guess I have some Donna Noble (Doctor Who) icons for 20inspirations... This was a regular 20in20 round which was a really interesting twist, I haven't completed a regular 20in20 round in a while and had forgotten how difficult it can be trying to match the themes, haha!

er, ok, so this is another set finished at the last possible hour and I really really struggled with it, everything seemed really difficult and nothing looks like I planned. If it weren't for vampire_sessah and raiindust (and the fact that the more Donna icons are needed in the world) I would have probably given up with this set, so thanks a lot for the support :> ♥
The category set was the most difficult by far, I have no idea how to use crops that aren't center crops with negative space :p also idk why this set is so weird, I guess I just wanted to experiment a lot. But all that being said, I'm just so happy I actually finished this challenge! \o/

Anyway, hope you like some of these, comments would of course make my day, I'm really behind with my own commenting this round but I'll remedy that asap!

OMGGGGGGG. Stock is perrrrrrfection! The soft, pastel pink and blue are so sweet and innocent. They go really well with the image, and I love the use of the vintage paper texture on the lefthand side. It gives such a classic, old school vibe to the piece!

Your DtRH icon is brilliant! Loooove the close crop and the alien-like laser blue. It's so dark and deep and mesmerizing. The fact that half her face is in shadow just slays me cuz I adore half-shadowed icons! The handwritten text scrawling all over her though? That is EVERYTHING here. EVERYTHING. Absolutely FLAWLESS.

Minimalism is so quite yet captivating. The fiery red of her hair just jumps out at the viewer's eye amongst the subdued tone of the rest of the piece! I love the slightly grungy texturing in the neg space as well that keep it from being too pristine. It adds character and depth to the icon for sure!

Retro is fucking AWWWWWWWESOME. The color blocking and text are just incrediballs, and I love the arrows zooming over her. That icon is funky as hell in the best possible way! <3

Oh wow, the first obscure crop is tremendous. It makes a deep emotional impact and conveys such warmth and intimacy. Digging the third obscure crop as well, which totally enhances her sorta mystified "WTF is this?" expression.

I get more and more envious of your text work with each passing post. AC1 will be the death of me. The blue silhouette and the thick color blocks and the tiny border slicing at the left? Fantastical. The lush purple in AC3 is just sensational, and the orange pops against it particularly well!

The crops in 26-27 are unbelievably gorgeous. I especially enjoy the lighting on the right side of 26. Her face has just the right amount of sharpness and contrast!

JFC, this is an AMAZING post. Simply UH-MAY-ZING. You have really developed a strong, identifiable style, Tommi. Your work is probably more recognizable to me than anyone else besides pamkips, whose compositions are usually also very easy to identify. I always love your deep, searing tones and the odd color combos you come up with! <33333333
