Yes, you can switch the caps at any point before the submissions close (...which I now realize is absurdly long for a random battle but oh well, first time organizing stuff :p). And lol, that's the correct strategy for cap choosing!! Go ahead! :D

and YES, I was just thinking of ways to still use the themes cause everyone came up with great ones. I was thinking that their use wouldn't be required, but everyone who wants extra challenge could try to mix and match the themes with the caps. I'm planning to do this and it would be awesome not the be the only one ;) Or you can ofc come up with another way to use them, if you have extra time you could even make separate icons for them where you pick your own caps, or use the secondary caps, or anything else you might come up with. They could still be put into the same post with all of our results.

I'll need to think of this more and put it all into the info post I'll make in a few days (...srsly, do you think anyone would mind if I cut a few days out of the signing up period? -.- I wanted to play extra safe to not make this a rushed thing but this schedule is even slower than my average icon making speed!)
