Ha! I have taken general math courses so many times my brain bleeds. Actually managed to get into a pre-algebra course and my brain went kerblooey. My lack of math understanding may have something to do with the fact that I see strings of numbers and it makes my brain tilt. Seriously, I can't remember things like phone numbers, birth dates, zip codes.... anything with a string of numbers. It's like numerical dyslexia. I actually had a phone extension number at one of my previous jobs that took me nearly 5 years to memorize. The number? 345. Seriously. I was looking at it as threefortyfive. It wasn't until that five years that I finally saw it as three, four, five. Let me tell you, nearly 8 years later, I still have the bruise from the facepalm when I realized that. LOL
