...for the 12th round of

big20in20. I'm super proud to say that the theme of the round - claiming and building the icons around a specific texture set - came from yours truly! So obviously I couldn't have missed this round.

My texture set was this one by

deny1984. Now those are some gorgeous textures alright and I had been looking for an excuse to overuse them ;) So these icons contain no other textures, only those, except the cateogry which had the theme of only using the set chosen by the previous participant, so I got this one by

firsttimelady. That was a challenge for me cause while I use that type of textures all the time and love them a lot, they're not the sort of textures I usually start building around. But you know what, challenging oneself is awesome, so I really enjoyed it in the end! Oh and yeah I made this thing even more challenging by setting two rules for myself:

1 - since this was an unusual chance to make a multifandom set, I turned that up to eleven by deciding that I can only use each fandom once! (had to cheat a little and count the rebooted star trek as a fandom of its own though, I have waaaay too few fandoms ;__;)
2 - for whatever reason i decided to use the category set icons to show my favorite relationships from the fandoms as an extra theme

1 Screen Project - Bernadette from The Big Bang Theory
2 Attention - The Fifth Element
3 Colour by Texture - Michael Scofield from Prison Break. This took forever, damn it's hard to use only textures for coloring!
4 Multiply - Star Trek: The Original Series (I know the multiplying isn't that obvious but that was the only way I could make it half decent :P)
5 Invert - Star Trek 2009. This was one of the more difficult themes cause I mostly picked my set because of the pretty colors, especially cyans, so having to invert one was not good :( but then I noticed the set had one random orange texture so invert it -> yay more cyan!! :D
6 Patterned - Six from Battlestar Galactica
7 Least Favorite Texture - Avatar
8 Shaped - My love Faith from Buffy the Vampire Slayer being her adorable self! ♥ uh, I know it's not much of a 'shaped' icon, but my set really didn't contain any shapes and I was too dumb to realize in time that I could have just made the shape myself, lol.
9 Favorite Texture - Dollhouse. There's something ironic about this being actually my least favorite icon in the set :P love the texture, still...
