Oh man that first icon XD I always love seeing where people started because it's always some hilarious story like yours! Anyhow, you came super far in your first 14 months and I'm pretty sure you have improved, like, twice as much since then. Highlights of your post: the light blobs of random colors on screen, names as icon text, your 'randomizing' of your font library. XD I feel like we all went through those stages, though; it's kind of making me all nostalgic reading this! Haha. Actual highlights of your post: the way you learn to use text a lot better as you move into the second half of 2011, the progression of your coloring into some really cool stuff, and how I can see the basis of your coloring and texture use in this post.
