Also, I notice that you merge everything down into one layer when you're don with it. I tend to leave all my layers alone until the very end when I'll either copy merge them and then do a final soft light (opacity depending on the look I want to achieve) and that tends to be the final thing... THEN I either save the PSD or flatten the layers and call it done. :)
